Building from India, for the world
At Beyond, we're a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, engineers and data scientists with deep experience with the healthcare ecosystem, both as practitioners and as patients.
The foundation for Beyond was laid when Anuruddh, one of the founders, dealt with a misdiagnosis for Rheumatoid Arthritis. After running pillar to post for 4 months, he had to figure out the misdiagnosis and the real reason for his issues by himself. The entire situation didn't make sense.
No one should have to go through this and yet millions do every year. More than that, when we have a health issue is when we're at our most vulnerable and alone. With this problem in mind, we started building August in 2022, starting by building computational algorithms that could help understand your health from health data.
We strongly feel that AI can play a pivotal role in helping people with their health. While its not at a place where it can make clinical decisions, that future does not seem far.
